Anushka is an actress and producer from Bollywood. She is a top-paid actress and has received many accolades for her acting. Anushka Sharma was born May 1 1988 in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh. She is the daughter of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka Sharma's father is a retired colonel. His mother is a domestic worker. Karnesh Singh, her brother and filmmaker, was a member of the Merchant Navy. Anushka completed her education at Army School in Bangalore, and then pursued a Master of Arts degree (B.A.) at Mount Carmel College. Anushka Sharma is a Master in Arts with a major in economics. Anushka had always wanted to become either journalist or model or an actor, but she never thought of it as a profession. Anushka, after completing her degree in Mumbai, enrolled at Elite Model Management. She received training from style expert Prasad Bidapa. Anushka's debut as a model for fashion was in 2017 in which she was a model with Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week followed by being picked by Rodricks for a role in his Spring Summer 2007 collection. Anushka Sharma has been involved in several brand campaigns since she made her Lakme Fashion Week debut. They include ads with Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka began giving film auditions in addition to her modeling. In 2008 Anushka Sharma began her acting career with the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan. In preparation for her screening test, Anushka Sharma stayed all day. Then she was commissioned for three films as part of the Yash Raj Films label. The role she played was that of a bride who was young and was married to a man of middle aged (the role that Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's "Badmash Company" alongside Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. This movie was met with mixed reviews. Anushka Sharma was in the movie "Band Baaja Baaraat. She played a Punjabi woman in the middle classes who runs her own wedding company. The movie got positive reviews. Anushka's contract for three films with Yash Raj Films was completed by Band Baaja Baaraat.
